STIKKU Kerjasama dengan 14 PT di Korea Selatan

Kuningan Terkini - Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Kuningan (STIKKU) kembali melakukan kerjasama dengan Perguruan Tinggi luar negeri. Kali ini, STIKKU melakukan kerjasama dengan 14 Perguruan Tinggi di Korea Selatan.
Ketua STIKKU Asep Sufyan Ramadhy SKed, mengatakan, menindaklanjuti komunikasi melalui dunia maya antara STIKKU, organisasi Kementerian Pendidikan se-ASEAN (SEAMEO), Asosiasi Pengelola Caregiver Indonesia (APCI) dan South Korea Foundation, akhirnya STIKKU berhasil melakukan nota kesepakatan kerjasama (MoU) dengan 14 perguruan tinggi di Korea Selatan.
“Ke-14 Perguruan Tinggi tersebut yaitu Gwangju Health University, Yong-In Songdam College, Health Institute of Technology, Cheju Halla University, Sunlin College, Kyungnam College of Information and Technology, Busan Institute of Science and Technology, Vision University College of Jeonju, Yeungnam University College, Wonkwang Health Science University, Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang College, Tongwon University, Gumi University, Ulsan University,” beber Asep kepada Kuningan Terkini, Senin (14/9/2015).
Dijelaskan Asep, banyak manfaat yang akan didapat STIKKU salah satunya manfaat jangka pendek dengan adanya kerjasama ini. Pertama, pengembangan keilmuan yang jarang seperti terapi fisik (fisioterapi), refraksioptisi (optometrist), rekam medis, terapi okupasi, radiologi, dan analisa kesehatan (teknologi laboratorium medis) yang banyak diselenggarakan di perguruan tinggi di Korea Selatan.
“Sehingga, STIKKU makin percaya diri untuk segera mengusulkan program studi baru yang masih jarang di Indonesia dan sangat dibutuhkan pasar dunia kerja, seperti fisioterapi, radio diagnostik dan teknologi laboratorium medis,” ujarnya.
Kedua, melalui MoU ini, khusus bagi mahasiswa keperawatan STIKKU, memungkinkan dilakukannya transfer kredit sehingga mahasiswa bisa kuliah 2 tahun di STIKKU dan 2 tahun di Korea Selatan untuk program keahlian 4 tahun. Dan saat lulus bisa langsung diserap oleh pasar kerja di Korea Selatan.
“Syarat utama program ini hanya kompetensi bahasa Korea minimal di Topik Level 3. Saya sebagai Pimpinan STIKKU akan memasukan bahasa Korea sebagai mata kuliah elektif di program studi keperawatan disamping disamping bahasa Jepang dan bahasa Arab yang sudah disediakan saat ini,” ucapnya.
Manfaat ketiga, diharapkan lulusan STIKKU dapat diserap sebagai tenaga kerja professional di Korea Selatan. Karena ada beberapa program yang akan ditindak lanjuti dalam waktu dekat. Yaitu, pertukaran mahasiswa STIKKU dan Korea Selatan serta program kredit transfer.
“Dengan berhasil penandatanganan MoU ini, perlahan tapi pasti, saya semakin yakin lulusan STIKKU akan menjadi tenaga professional yang berdaya saing global. Kini STIKKU pun sedang berkomunikasi intensif untuk menjalin kerjasama dengan India, Arab Saudi, Kuwait, dan Qatar. Semoga di awal 2016 STIKKU pun bisa bekerjasama dengan PT dan asosiasi pengelola tenaga kesehatan di 4 negara tersebut,” pungkasnya. (DHE)
