Kuningan Terkini - SMP Negeri 2 Kuningan melakukan Pembelajaran demokrasi, ini di terapkan pada pemilihan ketua OSIS periode 2015 – 2016 yang berlangsung sehari penuh di salah satu ruang kelas sekolah kemarin (31/10). Meski jalannya pemilihan dalam susasana belajar, namun tidak mengganggu proses belajar mengajar karena pada pelaksanaannya siswa dipanggil untuk memberikan hak suaranya dan langsung ke Tempat Pemungutan Suara.
Empat kandidat yang tampil yakni Fadel Rizqullah di urutan nomor satu, Nur Azizah di urutan nomor dua, Putri Delsa di urutan nomor tiga, Kinaya Zalva N di urutan nomor tiga. Sistem pemilihannya berjalan sederhana yaitu dengan menggunakan sistem ceklis pada daftar salah satu nama kandidat yang ingin di pilih.
Pemilihan ketua OSIS berlangsung dengan tertib, dengan jumlah pemilih sebanyak 1036 siswa. Sebelum mereka memilih, mereka di ajarkan dahulu cara memilih dan memilah calon pemimpin oleh panitia yang merupakan Pengurus OSIS Periode 2014 – 2015, serta telah mendapat bimbingan oleh para Pembina OSIS diantaranya adalah H. Tilarso, S.Ag, Ali Mutaqin, M.Pd.I, Ati Sulastri, S.Pd.
Dari hasil penghitungan suara, Kinaya, siswa kelas 8A memperoleh suara terbanyak yaitu 299 suara. Kinaya menyisihkan kandidat lainnya, Fadel memperoleh 111 suara, Nur Azizah 265 suara, Putri Delsa 253 suara dan sisanya dinyatakan tidak sah. Saat itu pula Kinaya dinyatakan sah sebagai ketua OSIS periode 2015 – 2016.
Salah seorang panitia, Zeihan Akbar Ibnuyunus menjelaskan, sebelum dilakukan pemilihan, para kandidat menyampaikan visi dan misi serta programnya selama satu tahun periode yang di lakukan pada dua minggu sebelumnya. “Mekanisme seperti ini memang sudah tradisi setiap pemilihan ketua OSIS di SMP Negeri 2 Kuningan,” jelasnya.(Zeihan)
